I own a 36 foot ketch rigged custom sailboat, the Marabelle Ann.
We cruised the East Coast from June 07-Nov 07 and then headed over to the Bahamas from Jan 08-May 08. She is now in Baltimore, MD waiting out the winter.

Annapapolis, Cape May, NYC, Long Island Sound, Fishers Island, Newport, Cuttyhunk, Marthas Vineyard, Nantucket, Plymouth, Boston, Salem, Norfolk, ICW Southbond to Beafort, NC, Charleston, Jacksonville, Abacos, Exumas and Eleuthera Bahamas.
Looking to:
Meet felow cruisers and plan a year cruise with my wife starting in Fall of 2010 to the Bahamas and Caribbean. Please send suggestions of how to make the most of a year away from day to day life.

I see you have been pretty busy uploading photos-wow. There are some great shots there.

The NY harbor is a great place to keep a boat in the summer if you work in the area. There are so many weekend escapes so close by. We chose to keep our boat in Newport Marina in Jersey City. Iris runs the marina there and you don't find such a high quality of service just anywhere. The price is better than Liberty Landing and it wouldn't be the same without Iris. So that is my recommendation for the NY harbor.
