Do not let 45 years hold you back :) I had Jessica crew for me on a trip from New Zealand to Vanuatu when she was 14 so I thought she would be able to manage it. It was the same boat so she knew it. She had competant crew available to help her but she pretty much did it single handed.

So, what experience did Jessica Watson bring to you that made you decide to lend her a boat for her first trans ocean as a skipper? Lending someone a boat is a big deal. I'm intrigued with the idea of sailing around the world. Although unlike Jessica who is 16, I'm 61. :-)
