Alabama Queen is Freedom 44 #4, built in 1981 by Tillotson Pearson Inc., Newport RI. She was a light casualty of hurricane Katrina. The current owner bought her in december 2006 and shipped her to The Netherlands where she underwent a 2 year refit programme.
