Absolutely right, David.
The tides are 14 meters. Very tricky sailing , extremely strong currents , not even that pretty to look at from shore, when the shore line is suddenly dry or muddy as far as the eye can see, fishing boats lying in the mud, waiting for water..LOL
Very interesting area though.

They say tides here run about 14 meters (nearly fifty feet). It is not a place that I would want to drop anchor, but his scene is beautiful.

It's the Bay of Fundy, which has the highest tide in the world.
