Douglas Lake is over 43 miles long with 513 miles of shoreline and about 28,420 acres of water surface. The main channel average depth is about 140 feet, but there are also some interesting shallows that my little micro-cruiser is well suited to take advantage of, such as this one just off the main channel where I have poked her bow into the shade of a cherry tree.
