The Cheasapeake & Delaware Canal is one of the busiest in the world. There's always some sort of ship or barge running through it. This guy was a car carrier, probably on the way to Baltimore. They had a tanker run aground a couple of weeks ago when the steering system failed. Sure glad I wasn't in his way.

and I thought the barges on the Intercoastal looked menacing!
