About Me:
Married, been sailing for at least twenty-five years, hold a USCG Master 100 ton license First sailboat was a 26 foot wood, trailerable cruiser built in Mt. desert Island, Maine in the '50s. My current boat is a 33 foot French-built sloop that I bought in 1996 in Ft. Lauderdale, sailed up the ICW to the Chesapeake, three years later trucked to Lake Erie. Sailed Lake Erie till fall of 2004. Trucked her down to Washington, NC on 5 October and then motor-sailed down the ICW as far as Boot Key Harbor, Marathon and then returned to Washington in June of 2005. Trucked her back up to Erie May of 2006 and that's where she is now. Check out my website :

Live in Columbus, OH. Glisse is currently in her slip in Sandusky.
Destinations visited:
In my own boat: Lake Erie and the islands plus Leamington, ON Canada, Chesapeake Bay, Narragansett Bay, ICW from the Chesapeake to Marathon, FL and off shore in the Atlantic along the coast. Boats chartered, borrowed, or whatever: Portsmouth, NH to Portsmouth RI, mostly off shore, The American and British Virgin Islands, the Bahamas including Andros, Nassau, Rose Island, Spanish Wells and halfway down the Exumas, as far as Staniel Cay.
Looking to:
Take the western part of the Great Loop, down the rivers to Mobile Bay, then around Florida and over to the Bahamas to spend three or four months cruising the entire chain, if possible.
