Learned to sail racing M20s on Lake Austin. Past member Austin Yacht Club. Past owner of a Freedom 45 (42 really, hull #1). Lived aboard for 5 years and cruised the Sea of Cortez and mainland Mexico. Just bought a Nonsuch 33. It is a cat boat with a wishbone boom.

    No longer in the Sea. I cruised from 1996 till 1998. Currently looking to buy another Freedom and berth her in San Diego. Looking at the 35 or 36/38.

    Could not find a Freedom 35 that fit my budget and had the interior finish we wanted. so we bought a Nonsuch 33. Sill has a freestanding mast and just a few strings to pull. It is a catboat, with just a main, far forward. More room below than a F38 and the storage is great. Had to ship her from Louisianna to San Diego, so we are cleaning and recommissioning.
