Just what part of the boat does the impeller come from?  

 

- Have not had to change mine yet but looking forward to it when I winterize next Fall.    grin.

 

 

Sorry for not providing more clarity. The impeller is on  the raw water pump for the engine.

Here is info from a previous post several months ago that lists the part numbers also.

I noticed that the replacement impeller did not have the threads that the installed one had (on the ID outward facing) so investigated. Yanmar has updated the impeller to the one with the threads. There is a small removal / extractor tool that essentially is a bolt with a center stud that screws onto the impeller and allows very easy back out of the impeller. The tool costs about $25 and is very straightforward.
