When I am well informed, the Beneteau 40 is equiped with an raymarien ST 6002 and an ST 60+ systhem.

Is it possible to navigate in Wind Vane mode without some extras ?
Do you had the need of an Gyrosensor ?

Can You tell me more about your system ?

Yes you should be able to use the wind vane feature. I do not know if I have the gyro on our boat as they have not given me the full tour yet. I have traveled on the boat for 4 days and the autopilot works very well under power. No wind so we did not sail with the wind vane.
