Even in cars, My Dad said always check your oil and your motor will last a long time..change etc...

True conversation with another Karen who arrived late for dinner one night;

"Sorry I'm late, I had to stop and add oil to the (pick up truck's) motor," said Karen. "Oh, did the oil light illuminate while you were driving? I asked. "No, that hasn't worked in years," she said. "Well, how did you know it needed oil then? said I. "The truck started shaking," she said. "How did you know that was causing the shaking? I asked. "Because it's done it before," she replied.
