Help the OpenCuba.org campaign break 100,000 signatures

Dear friends,
As you all know, I am working to assemble a race from Key West to Cuba scheduled for mid November 2010.
You can assist by doing the following: I want to ask you and all your friends to add your voice to the OpenCuba.org campaign urging U.S. leaders to give all Americans the freedom to travel to Cuba. Since launching the campaign in May, more than 95,000 people have visited OpenCuba.org to sign the petition.

Never before in the 50 year history of the U.S. ban on travel to Cuba has there been such an upwelling of popular support for change.

But the challenge ahead remains significant. If we can break the 100,000 mark we will send a powerful message to U.S. leaders that cannot be ignored. We need your help to help reach 100,000 signatures.

Please visit our easy-to-use "tell-a-friend" page today and encourage at least 3 of your friends and family to sign the petition

To date 180 Congressmen and 33 Senators have sponsored the bipartisan Freedom to Travel to Cuba Act, which seeks to open up travel to Cuba for all U.S. citizens.

Help get the message out to your friends and family. Remind them Cuba is the only country in the world Americans are not allowed to visit.

The opportunity to end the ban hangs in the balance. Seize the moment.

Visit our easy-to-use "tell-a-friend" page today and urge your friends and family to add their voice to the OpenCuba.org campaign

Or simply forward this e-mail with a brief endorsement.

Thank you for your support.

Barney, Brian, Mark, Jim, Arti, Dominic, Ramya, Adam, Tom, Marie, Joseph, Melissa, Daniel, Gary, Paul, Sam and the rest of the OpenCuba.org campaign
