GEEZ...WHERE THE F---- IS THE WATER COMING FROM??? DID I EVER THINK I'D HAVE SAME PROBLEMS AS THOSE LOVELY BENETEAUS!

Boat is on the hard and a small amount of water (Maybe 6 cups worth) is getting in somewhere and going into bilge.  Don't have an engine inside, leaking ports go into bucket..well 95%of the rainwater does.Other small amount collects on small tarp placed on settee.  Holding tanks pumped out, pink stuff in at the moment.  This water is clear.  Anchor locker?? Never got water  before always was a very dry bilge.  Don't know what could be different with anchor locker except have rode connected to cleat, maybe "wicking" in?? Just thought of that..didn't check as we were frozen and "done" for the day.  And to rub salt into the wound of "it's a boat!!"  u silly Sailorette...the stancion that has separated has the wire that runs to the stern light threaded through it which puts the kabosh on putting the end in another end that comes with plate to screw on with set screw to hold stancion. ....ugh...ugh...ugh!!!  Did I mention..I HATE a wet boat??!!

I know the whole stern rail is going to have to come off now... will need lil people with green velvet shoes with bells on the ends for this job. yipes Maybe lil jockeys looking for part time work.
No doubt about it Terri, time to buy a new boat!
Totally agree! Think we figured out a way... splicing wire and not having to remove rail. :-)
It look like you actually know waht I am talking aboud :-)
terri--we just sailed thru pouring rain and tboomers to useppa island in punta gorda area--lol is wettest damn boat i have ever tried to sleep in ..LOL.....water comes in down keeel stepped mast and ports and hatches--dont forget the chainplates!!! and over the bow when we plow thru seas--lol--we have had soo much fun!!! LOL....use a hose to find new leaks--then seal them --is do able before launching or after....have fun!!!
Twizzled on water coming into the boat. Is coming down to..putting me in the locker and water testing with a hose from the outside. Not coming thru the anchor locker..that drains out of boat. about an inch and a half in the bilge in a about 12 days time. Locker bottom wet..foulies in a bag getting mildewy..scrubbing them at home today in the tub. Have to get those ports sealed..maybe running between hull/hull liner? not a clue ..just know i hate it.. :-(
