Hello dear,I'm Amelia by name,I have something very important to discuss with you, please kindly email be back( amelia_herbert23@yahoo.com)I will be waiting to hear from you soon. Thanks
Steve, Sometimes I think that crossing an ocean is easier than many other things we have to deal with when it comes to "systems" and institutions. I sure do miss the solitude of singlehanding far from land where one sweet day flows into the next until you get land in sight and have to deal with people again. I take my dog on mountain hikes and enjoy the solitude when most people think the weather is too bad to do things outside. That is neat you are skiing again. The only time I snow skied was in Me. when I did some cross country skiing. Almost no snow down here in NC to amount to anything over the past 10 years or so.
Steve, I just noticed your profile and that you list Portland as your home port. I have not been there in a long time since leaving Naval Air Station Brunswick in 86. I retired from USNR in 94. I loved living and sailing on the Maine coast and miss it.
Hello Steve, OK about your NC friends in Beaufort. Like you I want to go sailing long distance again someday but for now I am working full time teaching school ()M.S.) and the boat is far from the ocean now up on stands awaiting much needed work. I need to get seriously started with the projects and "just do it". Time sure has a way of slipping by doesn't it?
Hi Steve, I just signed up for the Seaknot group. You have a good bit of sea time. I just fell in love with the Azores and its people. What have been your favorite ports so far? I didn't go as far as you in Europe but did the Columbus route to the Canaries, then on to Cape Verde, and across to Barbados. I was single handed most of the way except had my son with me from Virginia to the Azores.
Can't wait to get my boat ready to start out again. my email is wa4mqw@yahoo.com
Understand about the family visits. Must keep it all in balance.
"Hi All,
french built 2010 43 has been very dry down below but now a slow leak has occurred which is showing at the limber holes under the floor board in forward cabin. Bilge pump goes every 3hrs for 20secs. Not sure if it’s fresh/rain water or…"
