I have heard that there were very few inboards made. Most were outboards. In fact my uncle had an outboard. They were made in Marysville, CA, About 1/2 way between Chico and Sacramento, CA.

Yes, it has the Chrysler Ace Flat Head 6. It is a very torquey motor, so good bottom end, but not so much top end. It is one of my boats. I have a plastic bayliner, that I use mostly, as the Rockholt takes so much work. Putting a new bottom on it, as there is extensive rot. Losing enthusiasm, though.

Awesome looking boats! Reminds me of my powerboating days on Lake Winnipeasaukie in NH...many vintage boats on the water there.
