I'm seriously thinking about cruising to Settlement Point, Bahamas. It will be my first .... oh boy!

So, Fay isn't going to hit Orlando but Endless Wind [ my sailboat] is getting hit by major storms in the Merritt Island area. Orlando is going to get the west side bands....which means rain....and we need it!
Charlotte - thanks for the comment. I am doing work on my Westerly Cirrus and plan to take the Dismal Swamp route the fall of 2009. I really look forward to the adventure. I have visited Fla. several times, and plan on snowbirding for the next few years. I have been sailing since 2000 and have gotten a late start (59). Luckily TD#1 is headed out to sea...yeah! I know up here in Jax, we do not need any more rain.
Have received a small boat for my very own. Well, have to get her here. 19' and I am excited. Hope to hear more from the group
