Thanks for the welcome, Dave! Always a pleasure to see you. Been out and about traversing the Keys but back in Port in Boot Key Harbor. Should be here throughout hurricane season. Hopefully I'll get over here to Seaknots more often now! Big Hugs!
Dave, Everyone getting together sounds great. I will try to collect some data from members in order to come up with a location in close proximity to as many members as possible. I am on the hard for another week, but should be back in by this Friday. Taking a short trip to Norfolk this weekend. Will keep in touch. Gaye

Hi Dave, No, I've just been watching Sherry's posts on TTOL and plotting Rick's position from that. I understand he has left DR but don't have any position updates yet. I'll post his progress on TTOL when we get updates and use SeaKnots as the holder of my images. Delete Comment
Yea Dave, we called the knot a truckers hitch for years before I went to Louisiana and worked offshore where they called the knot the Cajun Come-Along.
Trucker's Hitch is fairly generic as there are many out there that most of them are knots that end up impossible to undo, or bind up.
I see you're planning on doing a DELMARVA.
We do a DelMarVa every year for practice & training.
Last year it was deemed HELLmarva.
Got caught by a storm, blew 70+ knots. Bad night on the bay.
We do lots of MOB drills and even have a small race in the ocean.
We'll do our next Hellmarva in May, right after finals week.

Is your boat a HR 40? What do you think of it?
My old Malo 34 was built in the same area as the HRs.
No worries on the Paul/Peat switching.
Since "they're" always robbing Peter to pay Paul, in this economy, maybe not a bad thing.
