Ahoy Captain Bill, I got a system-generated email from you (seaknots) but your comment didn't post to my page. That's odd..
Yes you're right - I'm supposed to be working, but talking to my friends on SeaKnots is so much more fun! Besides, I'm not really working - I'm just dreaming about getting back on the boat Friday!! Thanks for Richard's phone number.. We'll have to give him a call.
Franc, no, not us. I canceled my trip to Block with Primrose II . They started out this morning. I am still involved with getting my olde boat repaired and to Riverside. We put the name a\nd hailing port on the stern this weekend (Copperplate Gothic Bold, Forest Green edged in black). i need to have a pic taken of the name and flying the Lat & Att mag "Atty" flag.
Hey, Bill & Carole, I got a report from a friend of a "Drac sighting" on the LI Sound! Was that you guys? I know you were planning a trip some time this month...
Bill, I think the font may be a custom one made by the designer but Times New Roman is definitely the closest. Check out the album I created with high resolution pictures showing all the Dracs: http://seaknots.ning.com/photo/photo/slideshow?albumId=900123:Album:10063
I will add Can Drac as soon as we get the name on the stern and there will also be a new Drac Blau that my family is commissioning in Barcelona this month. Quite a dynasty indeed!

On a Gulet can stay overnight up to 12 persons. In roomy 6 double cabs with own bath & toilet you can recover yourself from the stress. If you are ever at the Cote d'Azur and want to join us, send us a message.
A Gulet is a sailsboat usually made from wood. Gulets were built since the Antique in Karien (particularly in Bodrum and Marmaris) and were over thousands of years the type of ships for the trader from the Amphora, who carried olives, wine and many other precious goods along the Turkish coasts. The wooden building ships are admired for the warmth and great atmosphere compared with the common plastic boats.
As I also do a videoblog about good food and wine, you are welcome to join my group Charlottenburg Cuisine at GREAT COOKS.
We made a episode on our ship. As we think good food and wine is part of great sailing expiriences:
The appetizer is tagliatelle putanesca. As a main course we serve cod filets provencale style and for dessert we serve baked pears in a rosé-honey sauce. Enjoy!
