Thank you, Liv. It is so nice for me to share it since all I do is endlessly putter at these paintings.
Hey Liv - thanks for the welcome! So, where do you keep your boat at - BYC? I grew up in Ottawa, hung around the BYC (worked there in the summer - never was into sailing until later in life ). We're presently at Stormont Yacht Club in Long Sault - we have a few members there from Ottawa. Anna from Montreal - aka FatCatAnna at The Trials and Tribulations of a Diabetic
My babies are land lock until November, but definitely they prefer to be on the boat, this is the life style they prefer. They love to sit out on deck and catch a little sun, and bark at any possible intruder, and of course a dinghy ride is a must. I’m glad that Moose is enjoying his time on the boat, and like Moose, mine hate when it’s time to leave the boat. They are definitely sailors.
Hi Liv,
I've missed my friends on Seaknots. Your pics are wonderful !~! I've been traveling alot... and am about to do a week trip with my sisters on the east end of Long Island... Montauk, Gardiner's Island, Block Island hopefully if the winds are good...... have a blast !*~~!*~!
Liv,
I was in long pants and a light jacket most of the time, 40 at night and low 60's during the day. Rain the first week almost every day. On the up side I had lots of wind and no bugs. If I were you I would go now.

Liv, you are so right my babies Daisy and Georgie are the perfect guardians, they make sure every body at the dock behaves and stays a prudent distance from the boat. They are great sailors and love to go on dinghy rides. I'll check out your web site. Thanks
Did you see my other pictures of my sails? Look at the pictures with the covers on...you know this is a Freedom, with no says, and all lines are to the cock pit.
It is a different set up for sure...also spooky out there w not much to hang onto. The mast is very wide and hard to put an arm around.
Rivers are reaching flood stage here, just a whisper of wind...some slight chance of sailing winds tomorrow.... you ever use Skin so Soft....now I've heard that rubbing yourself with Bounce dryer sheets works like a charm... I must say I am always seeking flyless cruising waters...LOL....
Have friends we'd like to visit on a Lake 2hrs east of Toronto...think we can actually sail in there...its open but shallowish...must ask them which lake it is....we're think i g of purchasing our yacht in Canada or US and sailing it back to Australia...(if we ever decide to go home)
