Sailed all day on Twizzled, then came back to ma. and sailed all nite on an O'day 17..with taped on running lights.. and ate roast piggy...was yummy. We're going to the Wooden Boat show tomorrow. Sounds like your getting alot done! Cool!
Morning Sailor... slow & progressing in the same sentance wouldn't be working for this sailorette... i want things done yesterday! lol. Well at least you are going forward! Is a good thing you know how to do all this stuff too!
Hi Gary, Haven't been sailing as much as I'd like to be..been very busy doing cleaning..repairing stuff (lol.. sailorette style..baling wire and duct tape) and arranging for more seatime. So how's your boat work going?
Oh yeah, the Cabo Rico guy isn't selling I don't think..shucks. Doing all his brightwork whilst on the hard. What a boat. drat!! I did ask if he wanted to trade as he said too much boat for him. Didn't go for it.
Agree on the practicing. Dave, Norine & I had to do MOB's and be tested to get helmsman cert. on the lake..but we should always practice. Have only hove to once in storm in BVI's, not sure how possible that would have been once the shyt hit the fan..maybe could have once we were in running position..have to replay that one in my mind..not enuf exp. with. Yes, was a good time...nobody needed stitches. :-)
Did you sleep well??? :-) Slept 8 hours, apparently need a "puckering" moment to induce sleep..lol. Next boat>>>> http://www.westsail.org/satori.html from the Perfect Storm..interesting site

Boat next to us is a Cabo Rico 38...guy selling it in the spring...too much boat for him (near 80yrs), I said mine wasn't enuf boat for me... "let's trade!"..didn't go for it. drat! What a boat and kept up well too! sigh..groan... :-)
6:12 am, still raining..suppose to be done by now..maybe is in Ri, afraid to look..lol. 5 - 10kts of wind out of the NW..i'll take it! Sails coming off today. Hope you have a wonderful time down there! Don't get a sunburn....sigh ....grumble....sigh.... :-)
Look's like sunday will be last day to sail for us. 6 - 8 kts of wind..may have to bring fans and a long extension cord. At least won't get blown off the dock when carrying cushions off.
