It has a commanding jolt with its harsh beginning and end; yet it supposedly means to slow down, you know kind of smell the roses as you go along kind of thing; something I have a hard time doing. Yet as I edge my way into the cruising world, I work at it each day. Take for instance this moment. For the past hour I have been online ordering a no longer made radio, the Icom MC 422. First I learned that I missed a seemingly good deal on a used one by about 3 minutes. Second, after succombing to the purchase of a new, still in the box model, I learned my bill me later account never got paid for my SSB radio ordered last month.

Diligently I tried to call to pay the bill pronto but alas their department isn't open in the middle of the night. So, dig out the old credit card to get this radio shipped asap. Ay, the essence of deep breathing to savor the annoyance of a terribly out of whack budget. Yes, to feel ehrlikda in my soul is quite funny. ITs the sound of the word that keeps my sense of humor in check. I want to leave. I'm tired to hanging around. Although there are lots of loose ends to tidy up as well as modifications still needed.

Fo. r example, I have a nice teak coffee table and two natural cherry wood end tables. Oh, how I hate to give these up. After sitting on my sister ship, Scrimshaw, I decided to shorten the length of my galley table. Afterall it is long enough to seat 6. Being a solo sailor, albeit it is a nice size chart table, "OFF WITH THE END" I say. Furthermore, I am certain I can trim the teak table top to fit nicely. Oooooh, what a nice touch to my interior. No longer an ugly white way too heavy formica topped two inch thick hunk of wood. Nope, I am now about to add my first custom item. Indeed, I shall be the one to cut the table top to size.

Chat later, the table saw is calling......................
