SeaKnots

DSC_0895.JPGIt finally dawned on me how I can put photos onto my written blog section. For the past few months I have posted pictures under the Photos section. But this section, blog post, is where I should be putting my ramblings.

In the future, starting now, I will try to serrate so as not to bore those wanting to look at those pictures that should be worth a thousand words. So much to learn, ,,,,,,from sea knots blogging, to trouble shooting VHF no sound this morning, to transmitting with my SSB (which I may experiment with as soon as the current gabbers allow for a break). Recently licensed as a ham I hope to transmit. Over the past 3 months I can easily pick up a Carolina station for weather and some interesting chats at LSB 7.268.00.  My frustration is getting Chris Parker's weather net at USB 4045 at his scheduled broadcasts. It just seems my SSB doesn't pick him up or I don't have the correct buttons pushed.

I welcome any assistance with using the SSB; mine is an ICOM 706. You can contact me through sea knots or my IPHONE at 321 682 6288. Within the next day or two or three I will be enroute to either Boot Key or Key West. While at this anchorage (Russell Pass) I have access to phone and internet.

Keep warm as freezing temperatures may wander way down here in SW Florida......Cheers, on my 2nd day in the 5th chapter, 2nd year of my Retirement Story.
