Nope, it doesn't get better than this...

After two days of having my sister Jane, and another day having my volleyball coach assist with tying up the nets, they are almost secure. At least if someone were to stumble and fall onto one of them, or cautiously walk across them, the net should hold their body weight. Progress,,,,

Progress toward my departure on May 30, things are getting expensive: new rigging, new nets, a clean bottom, an AIS system, boat cushions, and ten bikinis sure add up. The encouragement is nice, but the warnings weigh heavy on my mind. During last night's TGIF at Melbourne Yacht Club, one seasoned offshore sailor looked me dead in the eye as he asserted, "Your boat will be broken up in 25 foot waves as they cascade upon you enroute to Bermuda."
