Just started the cruising life on the 27th of August 2010. Its been a long time coming. Retired airline employee, ground crew, and now full time captain of "Far From Turtle" a Pearson 424. I've got a hat that sez Captain Herb, so that's how I know. Doing this with the Admiral/First Mate. Love of my life for 30 years. Its working! 15 years of sailing that went on hold in1996, waiting for the cruiser. Learned to sail on a Catalina 22, (ten years), then on to a Polynesian Concept 36ft racing cat, and then a boat whose name is never mentioned, 32ft rolling Buc..........
