Profile Information

Profile Type:
Sailor
Homeport:
Vernon, British Columbia, Canada
About Me:
Love to sail, just never enough time being a self-employed mortgage broker in this small interior town of the Province. I own a 1980 27' Mirage Sailboat moored at the Vernon Yacht Club that I use for fair weather cruising on the 92 mile long Okanagan Lake the Club is situated on and crew on another boat for our weekly Club races.
Current location:
Vernon, British Columbia, Canada
Destinations visited:
Have sailed the Gulf Islands of British Columbia and was part of the return crew bringing a 44' C&C back from Hawaii to Vancouver BC that took part in the 2006 Vic-Maui race. That trip took us 20 days and was the most incredible time of my life, it is my ambition to do much, much more blue water sailing.

Michael Boyle commented on CAN DRAC's group Beneteau 40 & 43
"Hi All, french built 2010 43 has been very dry down below but now a slow leak has occurred which is showing at the limber holes under the floor board in forward cabin. Bilge pump goes every 3hrs for 20secs. Not sure if it’s fresh/rain water or…"
