I think that the Cal 29 is a great boat for the Sound. It’s small enough to single hand and get into small ports/ anchorages, yet still very roomy for two +. It is advertised as sleeping six, but I think you’d all have to be pretty good friends. The Cal’s are a great line of boats, although most are getting pretty old now, the ones I’ve seen have been well taken care of and have many years of sailing life left. You can’t beat the Puget Sound for exploring!
