Not too much actual sailing. DId get a trip from South Haven to Chicago in May. 1998 on the Windy, a schoomner sailing out of Chicago (it had wintered in South Haven.) Meant a lot to me, since my grandfather had a schooner at the turn of the 20th, carried apples from South vaen to Chicago. He's long gone, but I got to sal in his wae.

In 2001 (June) to to go on a 4-day cruise on a small greek stinkboat from Toronto, Oswego NY, Welland canal, Erie PA, and Detroit. Best part was going Welland canal - boat wasw 1/4 full, got to watch it all from the bridge. Visited Baltic sea in '80s and '90s, took big ferries all over the place.

Looking to:

Make an annual trip around Lake Michigan by Enterprise rentacar - like to watch first 1000 footer downbound thru Soo locks, 1201AM last Tuesday of March.
