Oh - I wish the picture was bigger then the thumbnail is here. It's hard to see the detail. That is awesome that you got the artwork idea from a statue. For my first tat I used a painting from Georgia O'Keefe (had it done after having a mastectomy / reconstruction). My next piece I'm hoping to be water related (and to believe, before starting to sail ... I hated water - now I can't get enough).
