Yes, these finger docks are left in over the winter and are simply raised in spring. This is goof for us as we can launch the boat at any time during early spring.Boots on floating docks have to wait until they are put back in.

The bad side of this mooring is, however, we're located very close to a power dam and, when water is released up-stream, we have to face one BAD current when approaching the dock. We'd been better of on the opposite side of the dock.. We'll have to learn how to best approach the dock. It'll be a piece of art..LOL

Another nice things about being a member of this small yacht club is the use of the club house. On a rainy day we'd actually be able to play pool.. Oh the luxuries !!
