All the boats have a swing center board and rudders. Water is about 4 feet at the stern, and about 2 feet under the center board trunk. One boat anchored out as he came in late at night and did not want to chance beaching his boat. Beaching the boats are preferred to anchoring as the closeness of the cove ridge provides more protection from the wind. Also these boats are so light they spin continuously at anchor, running the risk of having the anchor pull out and drag. Only happen to me once, fortunately the wave noise against the rock woke me in time, ugh.
