Vinegar is a hard one to avoid, since most boaters are full of piss n vinegar.

By the way, heard from the toilet maker and he thinks I use too much vinegar.  Suggest no more than once a month.

Hey LOLA,

The joker valve is a "non-return" valve that fits in the discharge hose right behind the toilet pump and it prevents the holding tank or the overboard discharge water from flowing back into the toilet.  The one in this photo is distorted but I don't know why.  I emailed the manufacturer but have not gotten a reply yet.
