Way to go Ladye. i'm just a beginner sailor, but loving it. Learning in a dinghy (125) have done two seasons now and my 15yo son in the picture has a Flying 11 and is loving it. We have a 5 year plan (so our youngest is self sufficient) to get an ocean cruising yacht and sail away for as long as it takes. when my husband first suggested this 20 years ago I was very apprehensive...but now that I have the "bug" I can't wait. we have chartered a 36' and 42' in the Whitsundays off Queensland Australia and just loved it. Thinking of flying to your side of the world possibly to purchase the boat and start from there.
