Lots of time in Antigua, Barbados & the Grenadines during the glory days.
A couple years in the Med & 2 summers racing in England 1 summer on the Baltic out of Kiel..Lived in Spain for 2 years. Been racing in France 3 times, visited France two other times, therefore I enjoy learning Spanish, French, Portugues and dabble in Italian & Catalan. Some study in Japanese & Russian as I have friends from those countries. Some of my students are taking Arabic and Chinese, so I try to greet them in those languages (badly...) Basically, the study of language is a concept in understanding people, their culture, their perspective...
Now Coaching & racing full time.
80% of my time is prepping boats in the boatyard & managing a fleet of offshore boats.
Occasionally a nice long delivery.
Married with teenage boys & grown daughter with one 4 year old.
I guess that makes me a grandfather???
For fun we have a Hobie 18, and ski/snowboard in the winter.

Hi Pete. Hope this finds you well.

I sold the boat, due to a broken leg, that left  me handicapped.  I want to continue being on Seaknots, for pleasant reminders, and I thought of you. Be in touch, as I follow you in your adventures
