Just read your profile ...you have very exciting plans ....go for it!! Am a couple of years behind you but looking to see a bit of the world too. The best has yet to come!
Am in South West Ireland. Have managed to get a bit of sailing experience in other parts of the world over the last 2 years. Caribbean Is in 2010, Southern Spain from Fuengirola to Alicante a few weeks ago and have a trip planned for Greece in Oct from Athens up to Corfu. Will head away for a few days this month in my own boat and for a couple of weeks in early September. Have not solo sailed yet (except for a quick trip out in the bay a few years ago ..no wind ..so will not count that!) but am ever so slowly gearing myself in that direction. My preference is to sail with other sailors but its difficult to organise it. Think the old saying is the wisest ...make friends with sailors rather than trying to make sailors out of friends! Cheers. Kate
