I love to sail, and was afforded the chance to own a big boat that would fit my needs for the present as well as in the future. Presently I sail on Mobile Bay, was planning a trip south, I have now completed said trip south, now retired and planning on the next job for the next few years while I finish preping Surprise for Blue water, and get some blue water sailing under my belt. Update, first short blue water trip done,Update, 2nd and third trips off shore done, both Mobile to Pensacola, Pensacola to Mobile. Planning more trips now.
Current location:
Mobile Bay Al.
Destinations visited:
Kentucky Lake, Pickwick Lake, Tenn River, TennTom Canale, Black Warrior, Mobile Al, Mobile Bay, LuLus Homeport Marina (good food and music), Pensacola (big Lagoon) Port St. Joseph, and the list grows, :) Thats it for now, :))
God your boat is gorgeous! That's cruising in style! How well does she sail? I still have vey little experience to draw on as of yet, and as such have very little by which to measure by. I can tell that she's very well appointed from the C-42 brochures we have at CD.
Barry, if ever I make over there, I would LOVE the opportunity to crew for you. Likewise, if you make it over here, give me a call and I'd be pleased to sail the Serenity with you. :-)
Can't remember if it was you who told me about replacement kit for port windows on my boat...thought I saved site in favorites, no luck...went to Cat. Direct not there either.... Oooooo love this guy doing this song.... hope u r having a wonderful weekend...i'm still looking for my mast gate..lol
Wow cool, spinnaker will be fun. Only took one spin class on lake..on a light wind day..figures... got it flying tho and had to have launch bring us back..lol. If all goes well with gasket replacing, i might try to find two opening ports used for the head for a later in the summer projects..maybe..depends how brave i get and if I don't drop any of the cabin ports in the drink.. :-) ttyl going to boat in a couple of hours with long underwear on...weather sux!!!!! Terri
