Well I've been living and sailing on Krasna (a 40' S&S ketch) for eight years now. Krasna my boat is in Grenada and I'll be back there soon. Taking some time to visit friends and stuff in the states.
I used to be a photojournalist that covered wars and social issues in South America and Europe then sold my photo agency, bought a boat and am a cruiser now. I wouldn't mind stopping for awhile. I'm getting a bit bored with it and want to try my hand at a garden and and fixing up an old house.
Lee
Current location:
St. Augustine, FL
Destinations visited:
The US East Coast (Maine to Florida), Bahamas, Belize, Caribbean from Bahamas to Grenada, The Adriatic, Greece, river sailing in Europe, little bits in Calif. and Washington State.
Looking to:
Go cruising again. I've taken the year off and I'm ready to get back on the move again. I haven't decided where I'm going. Virgin Islands, Cuba, Panama Canal to the South Pacific. I'm open to suggestion.

Hola. feliz dia del memorial...so I was just wondering...Do I have to be a millionairess??? Would you settle for una chica that is rich in spirit? Back to the little rugrats manana....have a great week, Catalina
Hi Lee...get this...I don't sail yet. Just retired ....bought a boat (loan) and slip...fixed it up, and will now take lessons. Others tell me I will need to pack it all up in maybe keepers etc...the pictures are hung on bulk heads, but the others are just leaning on the shelves. I have always wanted to do this...I am now reading 12 survivor at sea books...and am scared a bit. Just ordered books also on pirates...yiks.....thanks for the reply..
Thanks for the reply...I do want to take the boat out...i need someone to go with me...I want to at least take it out this summer...even if just motoring in the inter coastal waterway. I just got back from a trip to see relatives ( Pavek , Lomac ,Tricka.) .... in Mn...just got in last night and great to be back in the Carolinas...
hi lee, how are you? my son lives in san diego and is looking to buy a boat in florida. he plans to take off in jan for a 1 year cruise. he is looking at a islander in palm city. is that anywhere close to st augustine?
work and anchorages are available in the USVI. Good people with good skills can find jobs, especially since it is "busy season" and owners who are not here want their boats tended to/fixed up and ready to go. Recently False Entrance has been designated a 'no anchoring' area by the local govt. I am not living aboard at this time, going sailing with friends and looking to race this season, which is only through April here.
