When do you plan to depart?....how long?....from where?

Hey Zee, Sailed yesterday...was warmish and light winds...had a nice day. Going again this morning...going for 4 days in a row..lol. Will haul out next week sometime..hoping to sail next weekend, then that's it. Will be one of the last boats out..don't know where they're gonna put her, yard looks full already. well a bit but it takes time raising a young pirate and still finding time to ski on weekends. At least now my boat is home on my trailer so i can work on it more.until spring i will have to "barrow" my friends boat when hes not looking. I love to call him to tell him im out on it though. I like his boat its a Columbia 26. not as fast as my SJ24 but its sailing. I have to go i have not missed a month in four years and i usually go out every weekend. so having my boat out of the water is very hard but im doing a lot of work that would have taken me so long to do otherwise. i just built the trailor in october and drove her home what an adventure that was.

i do make them. I can do most designs but i have not tryed any square riggers they seem a lot harded but i will try soon. i have made 14 so far. people like them. i will start doing color one soon too.

Zeehag; You had asked somewhere what kind of boat I have. She is a 36' Nauticat motorsailer built in Finland for the north sea. Yes she has teak rails and though they do look very nice when varnished, they are hard to keep that way.
She is an old girl but she is solid and we love each other. :--)

hi there! we're in panama right now, at bocas del toro. you know, the islands on the caribbean side. we've been exploring the country for a couple of weeks and will be back in n'awlins friday night. the boat might be fixed by now...tanks and messy expenswive high pressure fuel pump. hope to start sailing off to somewhere sometime soon. must check in and take care of some things, especially gina's mom, first. when are ya'll taking off for the tortugas? ok, well saludos, and hope to see you again soon. would love to convoy again. gina and mike
