Hi, Doc. I was just up in your area last week, making what's become an annual visit to Milford Landing Marina. Sometime perhaps you'll make your way down to Jersey City and stop in at Newport Marina for a visit. Hopefully you'll have a guitar on board. (I always do.) Cheers, mate...

Nice assortment you've got there. I'm currently down to just three guitars (all 6's): my trusty Yamaha jumbo (looks and sounds very much like the Gibson J-200), an Ovation shallow-bowl cutaway acoustic/electric, and an Ibanez solid-body electric informally known as the "lawsuit" or "patent infringement" model (for its unabashed copying of the Gibson Les Paul). Then, in the event I get bored with the guitar (perish the thought!) I also have two banjos, a Dobro, and an autoharp. I've been a folkie, a rocker, and now I'm just a guitarist and singer, cranking out any tune that happens to come to mind on a moment's notice.

If you're so inclined, why not sign on to the new "Sailors with Guitars" group on SeaKnots?

beautifiul guitars and cute boat---stout and looks like fun to sail.....i learned on the hudson from claverack creeek mostly south--hudson and thereabouts.....last time i was near yorktown hts, i was on taconic state pkwy northbound in blindinng snow in dec 1968...through the flashing yellow just as a car slid through the red flashing lite and through the intersection---missed me by 2 inches, literally , and made sounds of the 200 car pile-up behind me.....whew,,,,,could not see nor stop---at 45 mph.......wow, what a ride............i certainly hope the intersection has been modified since then.....
