darn, there go my hopes for getting my numberr on some scuzzy bathroom wall-guess i'll go to plan b lol....i'm at the laundry mat in avalon feeling like real tourist. i'm really enjoying just gettin away. i think i'll be ok i'm gonna ask vessel assist for a jump tomorrow and see if that fixes my engine problem. i put some good glue on the sail tear and will break down and get out needle and sail thread tomorrow and do a sew job over the glue job-that should work and then maybe head home on thursday. btw-have you heard of a guy named kenneth in san diego-i met him 2 yrs ago when i was going to mexico and i was anchored in mission bay. he helped me with some stuff on the boat and actually sailed to ensenada with my son and i. we lost touch and i wonder how hes doing?

steve and co came by to see how things were going and i was working on my sail---i hope it works this time it seems like i should withstand a hurricane with tape and glue and contact cement. no engine i guess i'll figure that out when i get home. i'm in no hurry so worst case sinerio i sail on jib only which is fine unless i'm in shipping lanes and there is a freighter....what are the chances. please tell kenneth hi,i often wonder how he is, he got a new boat last i saw him.

i decided to come in to cabrillo marina instead of redondo and it was fine my sail repair held up well. i got in here at 330 left avalon at 930. still dont haveengine running maybe tomorrow thanks for your help---btw the sail that tore was bought last year from kellys used sails. i'm just low on funds now cant buy things for the boat. good luck on your repairs maybe we can meet some day.

i noticed you mentioned on your profile you have a boat in santa barbara? i just had the greatest week! left redondo on my friends boat late last sunday night for santa barbara. she has a catalina 36. santa barbara was really nice. ive never sailed north past malibu so it was all new coastline. we really had a great time spent a little time in santa barbara and ventura. have you seen kenneth to say hi?

not sure about the bird thing but i remember he liked the birds and used to stand out on his boat and feed them.
wow you must be soooo excited about a new engine formosas are soooo beautiful-your a lucky girl. is fish harbor near al larsons? i stayed at al larsons for 3 yrs. i loved it they became family. maybe when you get your motor installed and running youll cruise on up to redondo, you can anchor in our harbor free for several days 5 or 7 i'm not positive-----i'm loving your blues as i type! good luck with engine!

Wish like hell I could ve buddy boated with yall -how that wouldve been an adventure in a half. Dont expect me to leave till Nov. (but ye never know)I did take her out Memeorial day weekend, with weather from the port and then starboard bow. I did well to muster the sidewards rain and warding hail. More interesting was keeping one of five guest (hardly crew) biting the bit. Nothing like in-yer-face-experience, Aye? Love yer pics of the shoreline. That is the ambience I seek -Southern Coastal dwellin's. Hope when I do leave I make around Fla. w/o fallin in love (with an abode or croele chick-ory). The further yall get the further I feel behind. But the excitement only escalates sippin on the this wine. keep publishin dem pics of the swamps and perhaps some locals. Their lines tell stories of past that fightin to live. Tell bubba to steady th lee bow now. dont want no excuses why yall cant get out of th Keys. LOL
Our legs'll cross soon enough(phil knows what I mean, lmao).

hmmm...good q...how big of a critter is yer boatkat? usually PIR will sense a fairly large being...a big raccoon might set it off....kinda borderline with a cat...we'd have to test it, most likely...where is your boat located? Are you in TX?

yup, Maine coon cats are huge...i'm familiar with them...we are going to be testing a boat at Ballena Harbor in Alameda, CA this month that has a live-aboard cat...I will keep you posted on our results!!

Well the diagnosis from my sailing friend is .....he thinks i bruised a lung. Heat now after 48 hours and if not better in 24hours....im turning myself in...to the dr. Yep, what a sailing season so far!!!! :-)

Shallow breathing, trouble lifting (opening window etc) & talking, can't get up without severe pain from lying down positition...?spasming right side...relief when standing. Slept better last nite...feeling an improvement today..did ice for 48h, heat last nite. Muscle relaxant in p.m., motrin q4h now. think rib pushed into lung. Slight bruising.

Hi! I hit the stern rail, not hard..was going for that extra 2" of length to grab back of o/b. Had a cracked rib once..know what it feels like..not this. I think bruised lung at the worse, maybe just bruised rib and overlaying muscle. Feeling a bit better today, just don't want to breath toooo deeply..LOL I will be safe...if i didn't improve today was gonna make the call. thank you! how are u guyz doing?? raining here today..again. taking Twizzled out sunday..with crew, i'll be sitting on a tufted pillow "observing" :-( Take care! Well there is good news! Friends went to Twizzled today and took out one port that was leaking and fixing. Also ordered the remote shift/throttle and will put in. Think i'm gonna make a move and go get dark chocolate..heard "somewhere" that it's good for bruised ribs.. hehehe

Not only Boats Z but homes are now undervalued...My house is not worth what it use to be...It's sad...Also I heard our dollar will be worth much less too. What use to cost $1 will take $3 for example...that is suppose to come. I am looking at car rentals...$46 perday...even on Priceline...going to out of state wedding.
