Hey Robin...Yes this is probably, the nicest Marina in the area, I live 30 minutes away, and that is just right for my great escape. I have a slip with no one on one side, which is also great.Actually there are 3 Marinas here that are side by side.Calabash is a fun place...Calahans gift shop is a wonderful store full of nautical items,,,I always like taking guests there..I'm in Mn now visiting, and planning a Memorial for my Mother,,,she passed away last Aug,,,in Calif, and I am now planning this get together for her here, where we all grew up...Nice to be here this time of year...but Paradise is where I live. Yes send pictures,,,thanks for the reply..Lola

I love the picture of the ketch (schooner?) in the sunset - it's what most of us are doing this sailing thing for, I think. The skipper's not bad either! :)

Hey thanks for the Mothers day wish and Monets photo. Both kitties are finally recovering from some powder i put on the mattress..and carpet.that had poison in it. They finally are getting back to normal .
Have you looked at more boats? Sailing?
  • LOLA

Yes Robin, it is quite the ship. I had seen her before in Baltimore harbor about 10 years ago. I also have a model of it in my sailboat in my display area port side. I was impressed with the like new condition they keep it in...the brightwork is outstanding...not a nook or cranny that is not manicured .
