Wow, that song was so relaxing. I understand why you would choose that name, it's a pretty boat name. I also love how you described that you are wandering with the seasons. You are living the dream!

Hey John, Glad you found me. This site still seems to need a lot of help getting off the ground. So are you going to be hanging around NC for awhile?

Ahoy Aria: good to read on SS that you are enjoying your sail up the east coast.....always nice to read of your adventures.

Hey John! Alan got me to come over here! Nice to see you getting around to so many places! I'm sure life is good for you! I am boat shopping. Looking for a liveaboard but need something that can take the skinny water here in FL. Haven't found it yet, but I'm sure it's out there. Take care.

Awesome name for your boat! Big daddy ...you are truly living the dream that only most of us have to keep on hold until we can finally give up and jump off the merry go round! Keep the sails in the air and full of wind and im sure you will always have a new story to tell as the days & miles of water gently pass beneath your hull. Happy Sailing & if you are ever near Lake Sabine ..seagoers are always welcome to visit the Port Arthur Yacht Club!
  • Banana Wind

Indeed Shell Island is ! There isnt much to "sail to" in or around Lake Sabine, so one of our annual boat outings for the club takes us up to Shell Island ....usually in the Fall & Winter months ,,,one thing though ....when night falls there ...one best have the mosquito netting up and ready or have the hatches battened!

ok ...so where in the world is Carmen San Diego now? (that would be you). Enquiring minds wanna know ......
  • Banana Wind

Sounds like a pretty sound plan to me ...sometimes one just has to bite the bullet and hunker down to make a lil cash flow until the till is right again. Good luck on that ..and keep us posted when you hit the dusty trail again !
  • LOLA

Beautiful Photos. I played the song Aria...while looking...soothing Welcome to our group...hope you can come back often. I like this site, but I have to get busy too...I'm hooked....Lola
  • Banana Wind

Well ...you end up having to make more money to fill the travel kitty ..or did you decide to sail on? (which would be the natural temptation of course). Either way ..im sure life is getting more and more interesting by the day ...

    Hey,

Thanks for the comment about the used bookstore in New Bern. I've been having a tough time writing this morning so I just took the trash ashore, drained the dog, and came back to your comment. Now I'm rarin' to get to work.

    Fair winds!
