That is St Vivian with my ski group at Lake Tahoe-Protector of hangover sufferers and torture victims.
Saint Vivian had a brief and tragic life. After she refused to become a prostitute, she was sent to a mad house and eventually beaten to death. Herbs grew in a garden over her grave that cured headaches and epilepsy.
Our Saint Vivian is depicted holding a hangover cure (bloody Mary)and looking concerned.
Prayer to Assist with a Nasty Hangover
O mericiful St. Vivian, I ask that you relieve my nausea, soothe my aching head and calm my upset stomach. I also ask that you protect me from any loud noises or bright lights and provide me with the sense to avoid further episodes of excessive imbibing. Amen
Had I sent this fantastic video to you twice? I tried to sent it to a group,,,check it out....:

That's great to hear your getting Suvarov out there with some friends! As Dacing with sails said, docking departing and mooring are accomplishments and adventures in themselves as the conditions will vary. Having all the accessories easily accessible is definitly a key part of a smooth sail outing, ask them where they think the best place to keep things to be handy for use is. Like a dock pole and bumpers...
I have only been out 3 times in the last 3 weeks! we have been so deluged by rain, the threat of thunderstorms and high winds that it has been nearly impossible to schedule to go out with friends. I have finally found a sail buddy who has the time flexibility to virtually drop everything and go out on the boat, so I'll be out much more than last season! I still have yet to fly the spinnaker, yesterday was a perfect day for that, but we decided to turn back early because of a seasick passenger and storm threats in the vicinity. I am still pondering the addition of a "Chute Scoop" (on-deck sail bag that keeps it ready to deploy and extinguish) for the spinnaker sail- there are a few different designs out there, wondering if I should go with the OEM design or a newer type design.
It's weird!- most of my free time and money is being channeled into my boat this spring and summer- the big money is being spent on a storage building (30x40) for the boat and some other large toys and my brothers tonka toys! We have a 18 acre land parcel and have been working on this since last july when weather and time permits. building a road that supports 20 ton trucks, drainage, well water, electric, building construction, and this Saturday pouring the insulated concrete floor! After that, next week I'll be driving to tarpon springs to pick up a trailer (that comes with a pocket cruiser) that will work for my boat as well. We'll be making our schedule later today. Perhaps well can make time to stop and visit you, and even take a short cruise! I'm about 13.5 hours north of you. I'll get back to you on what my departure date will be and so on.
Regards- Randy
Just sold the art car to a 16 yr old student. Father says he can't drive it until he gets a job, and pays for his own insurance, and repays the Dad....in mean time looks like Dad is enjoying driving it...hope the boy gets a job soon he he
