About Me:
...married on May 20th of 2000. Chuck was finally awaken from the motor boat world to the wonderful world of sailing on the honeymoon. We bare-boat chartered for two years in Tomsriver, NJ until we purchased our first sailboat Ebenezer -- a 1983 Catalina 30 -- in Essex, CT on October of 2001. We've since sold it and purchased Eliezer -- a 2003 Beneteau 331, which was traded-in for Eliora -- a 2008 Beneteau 423 that was delivered on June 27, 2008.

One of our favorite things is to sail into new anchorages/harbors. And for Sandra, napping on the way as well.

    Unbelievable photos, primo!
  • Chuck & Sandra

I'm hoping to add a few more over the next couple of days. Hope the system has enough space :))
  • CAN DRAC

Love the backgrounds also, but you have to lose the trees at the top! Not very nautical!!!
  • Chuck & Sandra

Really -- well someone designed the Seaknots theme with trees then... I merely chose the option of applying the Sea Knots theme and voila -- hehehe
  • Pete

    Ahoy, matey!

I just signed on to SeaKnots, and I'm glad to see a few sail neighbors here. I'll be sailing my Oday 322 out of Newport Marina in Jersey City this season. (I've been at Liberty Landing numerous times in the past as a transient.) See you on the water, perhaps.
  • Andrea

I cannot believe it...is it really TRUE????

...on May 10th we delivered our sailing boat 331 'Eliezer" as a trade-in for our new sailing yacht "Eliora", which is currently awaiting commissioning in order to come home to it's awaiting berth at Jersey City -- see photos below
  • CAN DRAC

You bet, primo, you traded a boat in for a yacht! Check out our profile to see the first photos of Can Drac "put together" (can't say finished yet, but you know, it floats!) Thanks for dinner last night!
  • LOLA

By far the most beautiful and artistic photographs...I really enjoyed viewing them. I am an artist and your photos are GREAT. ...Lola /Suvarov

Oh, I forgot to comment on the delightful dog..what a sweetheart.
  • CAN DRAC

Hey it was great having you aboard Can Drac this weekend! And your new combined profile is great! (The material used for the windows in our dodger is called Makrolon, by the way). Can't wait to see Eliora on the water soon!

    Chuck ans Sandra,

Nice to see other NJ sailors! Most ofour (Katherin and I) sailing is along the southern end on NJ. We live along Great bay (about 10 miles as the crow flies) north of AC) A normal weekend trip will have us spending the night aboard under the light of AC at Rum point, then possible a long day sail off shore and returning to Rum point or a trip down to Cape May to spend the night at Cape May Harbor and return the next day, sometimes venturing down to Lewis Del before heading north.

If you head south drop me a note.

    Bill

    Hi Chuck and Sandra,
Sorry for not replying for a while, I haven't had internet access for the last few days. We are in Newport now trying to get some of the electronics repaired. You can send me an email anytime at jersmith1@gmail.com. Keep in touch!
