Sailing from Racine to Bayfield 2012

Would appreciate any input as we just purchased a 36 catalina in Racine area and will be bringing it home in late june.  Looking forward to crossing the lake, a few days in the North Channel, the locks and the run across Lake Superior to our home port in Bayfield!

You may want to look int the NWSail.com  basically a social sailing group that spends the weekends at different harbors almost every weekend.  They have a sail planed to Egg harbor as well as a lake crossing.  Let me know if you want any more info.  also both RYC and KYC have active racing and being the PRO for KYC we are working closely with RYC this year to try and have some joint events.
