SeaKnots

Just purchased a Gennaker. Neil Pryde. Initial hoist and fly indicated what I consider to be a "too close" halyard exit point above the forstay. Anyone have experience? I have the roller furling main rig.
I've attached a pix of the headstay fitting where the spin halyard exits.

I finally re-routed the gennaker / spinnaker halyard. I added a bail and block about 8 inches up from the original point. Picture attached. Note that in this picture when the halyard is stored it was caught on the anti-wrap device on the headstay. That is where the old routing way caused chafe.
