I am the owner of the Freedom 39 Pilothouse that was in Samoa for the Tsunami where I lost my beautiful husband. I want all to know my boat is for sale. The price is $45,000 as is. She is seaworthy and sitting at a dock in Samoa. I need a quick sale so I can get home. If anyone can help please e mail me at mainly4dj@hotmail.com I will try to send details. Thank you, Joan
The damage to the boat was bent stanchions and bow pulpit during the Tsumani. Cosmetic scratches. I am trying to put together details on our 1984 hull 30 Freedom 39 Pilothouse Schooner but have been busy trying to bury my husband. We have watermaker, auto pilot, GPS of course
radar, ham radio and pactor modem, vhf radio, yanmar 55, 100 gallon fuel capacity, 160 gallon water, Grunnert refrigerator and freezer, ab dinghy with yamaha 15, she is a beautiful boat and a wonder to sail Fin keel, 5.5 draft. 55 Delta main anchor with windlass. Many spare parts will be left with the boat. 55The sails are original. The price is $45,000 "as is". I so appreciate your efforts. Love, Joan
We also have two solar panels, but the port side solar panel was smashed. The foresail has a rip in it incurred on the sail from Bora Bora to Samoa. One side has been patched but the job is not finished. However, there is someone here who can complete to job and I have already bought all the materials from Sail Rite. The whip antenna for the SSB was also damaged, but I am still transmitting on the radio. I am looking for a very quick sale. Hope you can help. Joan
