<p>Are you flushing with salt or fresh water? If it's salt then that may be your problem. While a full holding tank will vent nasty odors with either water type, it's especially bad with salt. The salt water has microbes in it that decay producing some horrific odors. Converted both our heads to fresh water and love it. We really don't notice the difference in water consumption either.</p>

<p>I have the same friggin problem. I spoke with a guy at a marina who had the same issue. he added a inline filter to the out going vent and it totally eliminated the problem. I never got his name or number to get more info. im sure if you go on line or ask the broker who sold you the boat, you may get some info. ill throw the question to Mike Brown who in sea knows in the Beneteau40-43 boat group. let me know if you find anything else.</p>
