Re-print from an upcoming newsletter  of the East Coast Sailing Association

Sassea Sails Soon,
As May 29 approaches the days are zooming by. There is still so much to do. Adding lifelines, figuring out the wind vane, plotting my course, and ordering assorted gear. At the tippy top of the list is to garner some courage. I expect to do the first leg solo. Pending the weather I will head in a northeasterly direction from Port Canaveral meandering off the coast of that horrible Hatteras. Then, SPRAY and I will either continue to Bermuda or go straight for Sandy Hook, New Jersey. On the return, Maryanne Schaumann is expected to accompany me for a ride to Bermuda and possibly all the way home. A secret guest may also be joining me in Bermuda for the ride home. Although the possibility of a disaster scares the bajeebees out of me, it is the variables that entice me. While I am gone make sure you all sail safely and stay off I-95. Here in Brevard County it is said to be one of the nation's most deadly stretches of highway!

It sounds so very exciting and I am immensly jealous.  Let me know when you get up to Sandy Hook, NJ.  I am just a hour or so away from the Jersey shore and I would like to hear about your adventures.  I am always looking to crew any day sails in the Jersey area.  Have an awesome time.
