most interested in updates about the electric engine project, Anne.  What is your boat?

I headed out one beautiful weekend in February. Now my boat is on the hard, getting the topside and deck painted and a new electric engine put in. Hopefully, the rain won't slow down the former and I'll have her back in the water in a few weeks.

Spring fever in a bad way.  We are scheduled to launch on April 18th.  Lot's to do between now and then though.

Lucky dog!  We're anxious to launch either/both boats, 1 in Montana and one in Baltimore.  No time soon, though

All of a sudden...it's SPRING! 75 beautiful degrees where I am in Pennsylvania. Our bonfire is scheduled for tomorrow (not with a club, just a few friends at home with good food, cocktails and old socks to get things kicked off), our marina called today to say our boat will be first in (advantages of procrastinating in the fall), and we have scheduled our first long weekend cruise to the Wye River. It's not far from our home port in Rock Hall but we've never visited. Anyone else anxious to launch? Any big plans this season?

"Submit" currently on the hard in Baltimore, with us in Montana, waiting to get back to her and project a little before exploring the Chesapeake.

Anne, Not much sailing past Tappahannock, as it really is like a snake. The river is navigable all the way to Fredricksburg, but the channel gets a bit hairy. But between Tappahannock and the Bay, it's beautiful. One or two dog legs with all the searoom in the world...

I sail out of Broad Creek, Deltaville, just a mile off the Bay .
