How is your washdown pump and nozzle installed ? Where is the raw water through-hull ? Description and pics are welcome.

Mine is run off the water inlet to the forward head up into the anchor locker. The pump is under the sink in the head. There is a gate valve in the locker and an isolation switch which is wired back to the "spare" on the panel.This saves on an additional thru hull and seems to work fine.

it's very enlightening. I'll check how difficult would be to install one on my boat. I'm tired of bumping the anchor at bow when I forget I left it on water to clear mud ....

Gavin, if have a cvhance take some pics from your locker so I can see how its arranged there. I suspose hose shows up at side of windlass platform, right ?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Here are the photos. The pump is actually under the forward bed. I don't have a photo of this but hope these are of use to you.

Big thankyou !!! Pics are 1,000 words worth. I have now a beter understand of the schematics Beneteau sent me. Pump under fwd berth is a good idea (why Beneteau didn't tell me this ??). Thanks again !!
